Members confirmed that fibromyalgia can cause unexplained tooth pain that often shifts from tooth to tooth, making eating difficult and sometimes prompting unnecessary dental visits. Several members shared that teeth can feel fragile or weakened, with a few noting that long-term medication use may contribute to dental problems like softening or crumbling teeth. A recurring theme was that fibromyalgia-related pain can affect almost any body part unpredictably, and while sore throats were mentioned, most members attributed them to other causes like allergies or dry air rather than fibro itself.

I love eating, but chewing for me is super hard, not just because of all the movement involved, but also, because my teeth hurt as hell. It's almost as if they're weaker, fragile like thin glass, you know?

Fibro can make any body part hurt. Sore throat might be allergies or dry from lack of moisture?? Fibro hasn’t ever made my throat hurt. Now, the blower fan I sleep with at night can make my throat dry and scratchy because I sleep with it on my head. 🤦‍♀️

Yes, it’s the weirdest feeling. Especially when you want to eat and you can’t 😩
