Yes I have. I came down with it in 2017. And it lasted until 2019, then went into remission. It’s an autoimmune disease. Horrific pain. Having fibromyalgia with it at same time, gets confusing . I’d be glad to discuss it with you. Big hugs,❤️‍🩹 Victoria

I have a friend with PMR. Steroids have been helpful for her.

So sorry you’re going through all that Jackie. It’s really painful. You really need to see a rheumatologist for a proper diagnosis. Sometimes the GP is good and will identify it ,but you need to know for sure. I was on steroids also. It takes awhile to kick in. Once the steroids kick in it will get a little bit better as time goes on . For me, it started in my shoulders. And few weeks later I had extreme pain in my hips, and couldn’t get out of bed, or push myself out of a chair. I didnt have the lumps under the skin. That sounds like a different condition , maybe related to fibromyalgia. Let me know how things go for you Jackie . Hugs, Victoria

Thank you. I thought I was having the biggest worst flare I have had, then I got lots of lumps under my skin in the identical place on each side of my body. Had US and they said it looked like my soft tissue was changing. GP has started me on steroids and thinks it may be this and I have to go back next week. I must saying looking into the symptoms online it looks like this is what I have but is very close to fibro also. It is taking over my life though I have been off work for about 4 weeks up to now!
