Members reassured someone experiencing chest tightness and breathing difficulties that shortness of breath, especially during walking or even while resting, is a recognized fibromyalgia symptom often caused by reduced oxygen flow and muscle fatigue. Several members described similar experiences of heaviness in the chest and tightness during everyday activities like short walks or sitting upright in bed. A recurring theme was the emotional weight of living with these unpredictable symptoms, balanced by the comfort of knowing others truly understand.
