I Can't Wake Myself Up And Am Sleeping All The Time. Is This Fibro And Does Anyone Else Feel Like This?
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

My fibro pain has been excruciating for months, a lot of burning pins and needles. I have been very nauseous and dizzy. And I've gone from insomnia to sleeping all the time. I get tired all of a sudden, I lie down and am out for hours. In the morning, it's like I can't get my eyes open, I am so groggy. It's been really hard to deal with because I have absolutely no energy. Does anyone have any idea what I can do to help myself?

@A MyFibroTeam Member, So sorry you're suffering from so much fatigue. I have had a similar experience. I don't have sleep apnea, but my sleep is rarely restorative.
I wonder what your doctor has recommended for this. May be your medication can be looked at?
Have you has any major life changes or stressful events recently?

I have sleep apnea also, supposedly. I never used the CPAP machine, it was a nuisance to sleep with and I would have panic attacks when I wore it.

I have the same! Do you have sleep apnea? I have it severely, but I can’t use my cpap anymore due to panic attacks.. I have bulging disc in my lower back, so for months I’ve been sleeping in my recliner.. I’ve had fibro and chronic fatigue for 20 years, the older I get the worse it is. I’ll be 70 in November..
Prayers for all!

Mornings are really tough. I have to drag myself out of bed. I start waking 30-45 before I actually get up. And when I tire out, I just collapse.
