Is Anyone Taking Memantine For Fibromyalgia?
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

This is my fourth month on memantine. Fortunately I have not experienced any side effects yet. It has helped to improve my fatigue a bit and my "get up and go" periodically . I'm hopeful it will just improve from here 🦋

I am also on memantine. It hasn't taken away all of the pain, but I haven't had a flare in months from things that would usually put me in a flare. Definitely recommend if you can't take the other stuff.

@A MyFibroTeam Member. Yes it is used for dementia. It is also being used for fibromyalgia patients. If it is working for us I think it is a good thing. We can try and see what works for us. If we don't try we won't know. I will keep updating. So far it is promising. Sending soft hugs, comfort and strength 🫂🌹🦋
