My last ent explained biofilms to me. Yes they can trigger all kind of symptoms with chronic illneses. It's more common to find info about it in reference to allergies.
When I moved to a desert, with significantly less biofilm, my symptoms improved a lot and I stopped getting sick constantly.
My husband also has a theory that microbioms rule the world lol.
When I'm on my strict anti inflammatory diet, even the biofilm on my tongue goes away.
Sometimes some can help like with ferments, probiotics, etc, but I find all that triggers more symptoms. There is a warning on that stuff for immune compromised.

Hmm my daughter has asked her DR several times what's up with her tongue. And they tell her nothing wrong.

The biofilm is inside of the body. Idk about the tongue.
