Members shared a wide range of experiences in response to a question about taking Cymbalta and its side effects. Several members described difficult early reactions including nausea, body tingling, mood swings, weight gain, and a feeling of being disconnected, while others found relief by starting on a lower dose before gradually increasing. A recurring theme was that Cymbalta affects everyone differently, with some members finding it life-changing for depression or fibromyalgia while others simply could not tolerate it.

I tried it for two days and didn’t tolerate it well unfortunately. It made my whole body tingle and I felt like I wasn’t in my body. One thing to keep in mind, is what may not work well for others may work well for you. As with any meds it’s scary with side effects, but you don’t know how it will affect you unless you try. I hope the side effects are very minimal for you🤗

@A MyFibroTeam Member @A MyFibroTeam Member Thank you for your responses. With how I've felt just taking them for 1 week I believe they are not for me. I appreciate your input.
Take care, Linda

I've been on it since 2017 and I love it. Mainly because it wiped out 19 year of severe depression. I don't know what the side effects are, but it works great for me.
