I’m thinking it would help turn your dark thoughts around. My friend suggested it, cuz she is an evangelist pastor. Also, it’s less than a therapist would be too. Please, let me know what you think. God bless u all.

Members responded warmly to the question about using the Bible or devotionals to manage dark thoughts, with an overwhelming sense of shared faith and encouragement. Several members recommended specific resources like the app 'Jesus Calling,' the YouVersion Bible app, Bible Promise scriptures, and devotional plans tailored to depression and anxiety, while others found comfort in listening to gospel music or the Psalms. A recurring theme was that leaning on faith, prayer, and community through church groups or Bible studies has brought peace and hope during the hardest days of living with chronic illness.

My friend who’s a pastor told me about a book with scriptures. I just downloaded to my kindle. It’s called Jesus calling with scripture references.

Wow, this is a great question. I started with fibromyalgia symptoms in 2020. Along with the severe pain and discomfort I experienced, I was mentally challenged with horrible thoughts. I have been a Christian for most of my life but I did not dive into scripture, prayer, meditation, and spending so much time with God until my symptoms started. That was almost 4 years ago... Now the ONLY way I'm able to cope with this disease, is to trust that God loves and hears me when I pray to him. I have a much better relationship with God today because of this disease. I no longer have those negative thoughts... and I am so grateful. I will be praying for you 🥰

Yes. If nothing else listen to gospel music or Christian. My dad used to go into the living room and put Tennessee Ernie Ford gospel on. He said it was better than church. I ask the Lord for guidance in all things but especially if I'm really hurting, I ask for peace 🕊️. Just me and God talking. Make sure you look for his help in everyday things. Could be just a Blue bird or an easier time. Thank him for everyday even when it's been hard.

I been a Christian for years but when when fybromaliga hit me 12 years ago God has given me the peace and strength every day, there’s some days it’s hard like when I missed church or events but am always reminded by The Holy Spirit to pray and Trust in God and He surrounds us with his peace, that’s right Gods Peace, get involved in a church, you’ll meet wonderful ladies who can pray for you and be there always to get you through the difficult times. I love our church and our Bible Studies I attend, I just joined a clsss our church has on How to eat healthy, I will be praying for you my love 💙🙏🏼🥰 I also have a aerobics swimming class I started back when I was diagnosed and we’re just a bunch of ladies that became faithful friends, we do movie dates, celebrate 🎉 birthdays 🎂 we check on one another, I’m so blessed and grateful for this awesome support group too💜💜💜get going my dear!!!
