Interesting question. I was wondering about this connection as well as I read other entries and Fibro following injuries. I was an avid equestrian until I was 17 and in an auto accident with whiplash. I had not connected the dots here - but I stopped horseback riding around the same time. When I was in my 20's pain had already become a way of life. I just never connected the two and that perhaps this accident triggered fibro. I have lived with pain off and on all my life, plus all the other weird things that go with it (IBS, migraines,....things doctors blew off as "in my head".)

Same doctors always put it down to being overweight

I've had multiple occasions of whiplash.
