I cant work anymore from my fibro pain, but still have to work to make income, can anyone help me please what to do or where to apply for an income for people with disability.
Appreciate all your help.
If you live in Alberta, Canada, you should apply for the Assured Income for the Severely Handicapped (AISH). Just go on their website or call them to get their application. If you have a doctor who is looking after you, who believes you, they will help you with the application. Most provinces in Canada have something similar. The Federal Government also has the Canadian Pension Plan for the Disabled (CPP-D). Together they pay each person roughly $1500-1800, depending on a few factors, including how much you paid into CPP when you were working. They will also help you apply for services that you need, like Aides To Daily Living if you need. Good luck!
You need to find a social worker, nurse, and/or doctor to help you apply for the appropriate programs, including Assured Income for the Severely Handicapped and CPP-D, Canadian Pension Plan Disability. If you’re not on welfare, you should start there. They should be able to help you with the rest. Good luck! 🤞
