I have goals I want to reach, but I would not call them resolutions. This may be stupid but I feel calling them resolutions kind of sets me up for failure, but that is just me. I wish everyone a safe and happy New Year. Good luck with all of your resolutions. ❤️ 💙 💜
I used to be a regular gym goer for decades, the benefits of resistance training and good diet are well known. I always ate more healthily when I exercised on a regular basis. It may sound counterintuitive given the fibromyalgia but as part of a New Year’s resolution I’m going to start an exercise program of exercises initially using body weight. I’ll start off slowly with a very limited amount of exercises, one for each major body part with at least 5 minutes of rest time in between each exercise so as not to overwhelm my system. Listening to my body will be very important so I’ll taper the exercise routine depending on how I am but something is better than nothing! I’ve also subscribed to Bend as gentle stretching is good for our general wellbeing. Those things allied with a healthier diet can only be of benefit and I’m hoping that taking back a little control of my life in this way will have a benefit on my mental health. Wishing you all the very best in 2024.
I really don’t make New Year’s resolutions anymore, after all these years. But I do have an intention and focus. I want to stay true to myself. I’m thankful to be alive. I want to continue to focus on my daily needs with fibromyalgia and other conditions that I have. Blessings to you in 2024🌹
