Amber, yoga is a great option! So are things like tia chi, swimming and water aerobics are great; I do lots of stretching, ride a recumbent ex bike, but strengthening and balance are also very important... Just start slow and don't overdo.
With a little guy around, sometimes just playing and doing things together is all you need. 💕
No hubby to help anymore, but I did find my second remote. But my sunglasses were stolen, left in recycle room. So, I guess really my sunglasses were recycled.
For me, the tens unit is great. But with Fibro Fog, where did I put it, so I would always remember to find it? Hmmm.. Just where is That Tens Unit?🤷♀️
Having been a therapist for 30 years, yes... My main focus was mobility & pain management; either to return folks to home or keep them there. Strength, flexibility, functional endurance and balance are all important. Yoga is one way to incorporate all. And again start slow since none of us need a flare! And I might be biased 🙄 but really think seeing a good PT that's knowledgeable about fibro, is the way to go! Lol
Not exercise but I strongly recommend things like TENS units/e-stim, ultrasound, therapeutic massage, acupuncture, etc And a group like this! 🤗
Hope you all have a wonderful day and manageable pain. Hugs,
Deb 😘
I’ve been told yoga stretches for beginners works but walking a few minutes each day I can helps keep me mobile
