Lately I’ve been hearing a “whooshing” sound in my ear and also it sounds like I can hear my pulse in my ear as well. Just wondering if anyone else have experienced a similar symptom? And if so what did the doctor diagnosed it as? I’m going to see my pcp tomorrow just a little worried and google doesn’t help at all.

Yes. It's a horrible sound when in a quiet room. Nights are worse. I put radio on and music when at night time and when working to help distract 😌
I used to be able to listen to peoples conversations across the room in a busy pub now a few people can sound deafening. I got a pair loop ear plugs to block out excess noise and work great
Yes, I too hear a whooshing. When I mentioned it to my doctor he said, out of caution whenever a patient mentions this he has to schedule a carotid artery ultrasound… came back normal. So just thinking gotta be another damn symptom of fibro🙄.
Alot of things can cause tinnitus. Excess noise. Alcohol, stress, etc.
Not alot can do unfortunately. They recommend using different colour noises to help. Or things like rain. Water flowing etc. Anything that can make tou relax of focus on to distract form the ringing.
Caffeine is a big no no for tinitus.
