What were the benefits and side effects?
Msm is an amazing anti inflammatory!
I have taken it for many months at a time. I have never had any side effects from it and you can take really high doses of it without worrying. It seems that now many arthritis supplements contain msm😊
Mildly helped
Looked up my journal and info from the web and have found that I now take Boswellia with turmeric and at present am happy with it. Some research has been done comparing boswellia with MSM and both were anti-inflammatory and helped with both kinds of arthritis. However boswellia came out just a little ahead, and because of the other benefits it has for the body, was the better one recommended. Neither are at all detrimental to the body taken for long periods of time, also.
I've been trying different joint supplements for many years and they usually contained glucosamine sulfite, MSM and a few other ingredients. I haven't found any that really helped me. And yes, I've taken them for long periods of time to give them a chance to work. I also tried various turmeric supplements and I just don't notice any difference. I wish I could find something . In the past, if a supplement did not work for me, I would keep the bottle for a while to remind myself because I'm getting older and a little forgetful at times and I might be tempted to order something like it again. Lately I've been throwing away a lot though. But when something works for me I definitely keep on with it. I'm trying something else right now have. I have no clue if it's going to help. It has boswella serrata in it and other ingredients so I'm giving it a try. I have taken MSM by itself but it was quite a while ago. I would have continued with it if it helped me. Hope you have success.
Funny….I can’t remember either why I stopped taking it😂
Now I take a turmeric/curcumin supplement for inflammation.
