Don't know if it's normal for fibromyalgia but I have had edema in my feet and ankles for over 5 years. Since last summer I've been getting laser therapy treatments and the swelling has reduced to where I can again wear regular width shoes. I think it's caused by high blood pressure and varicose veins.
