I've been sleeping on the sofa more lately..our mattress is memory foam (apparently) it was fine at first but now it's the most painful thing to sleep on, I'm researching toppers but all the reviews are hit and miss.
I spend my nights tossing and turning trying to distribute the pain in my joints apart from when I sleep on the sofa which is no good as I miss sleeping next to my husband...any advice or recommendations welcome!

I’ve tried every topper. Memory foam is horrible. Hot and breaks down in a couple of months. I have laytex which ends up too firm unless I put heather topper in it. Best I’ve found. Also wool topper, now pretty thin, helps transfer heat from toppers.
Still not perfect, but best I’ve found. BTW weighted blanket, even different kinds, made me sweat and got heavier as nigh went on. Gave them away.
My experience is to order a 3 in thick topper. It’s actually too thick. I advise you to order a 1-2 inch. If it’s too thick you really cannot move without pull straps on the bed posts.
I have a feather bed topper, too. One can move in this topper. Just put on top of the furred sheet not under it. You’ll need to air out and fluff.

Featherbed & sheepskin topper..never heard of either before but I will definitely look them up! Thank you 😁
I have a blanket from Costco, Kirkland signature plush Blanket queen size for 19.97. It’s amazingly light and comfortable.
