About a month ago all of a sudden the end of my tongue started feeling like it had been burned. I had not eaten for drank anything that would bring something like that on. It has been almost two months and it is still there. Sometimes it is on the end of my tongue but sometimes moves to the middle and around. I have tried yeast meds, coconut oil, pre and probiotics. Yes I have burning mouth syndrome which started when I was on Gabapentin. I am now off all meds and it has improved a lot but I do still have it. I also have Sjogens which can contribute to burning mouth as well as Fibro but the meds made it worse for me for some reason. If you are on any meds it may pay to consider them.
Some meds may do that also😣
Try telling ur dentist. Fm has lots of weird symptoms. Interesting to shsre
