How often? Do you feel a difference?
@A MyFibroTeam Member haha, I liked the way you take the supplements, it's a really good idea.
trying all of them and observing their effects on our body
@A MyFibroTeam Member, I take Magnesium Malate. Everybody’s tolerance is different. I take 1 pill with each meal and at bedtime. They say you should experiment with your dosage, if you start getting diarrhea, you’re taking too much and should lessen by 1 dose until you’re system can handle the dosage with regular bowel movements.

I've taken 2-3 kinds of magnesium, citrate, malate, don't recall the 3rd, but it seemed to be beneficial as an electrolyte, but not consistent in aiding with the pull of threatening spasms, or headaches. I don't take it regularly anymore so much as it is expensive, especially if it's not helping. Same thing happend with a supplement I used to use daily, " fibro- response"....great at first, seemed to help balance the flares through the day, but a couple years ago, I had developed new symptoms or, worse rather, and I would vomit as soon as I'd get up in the morning. I couldn't take ANY meds until after lunch, and supplements never did settle on my stomach again. I take raw ginger with plain non dairy yogurt, banana, stuff like that with the whatever nessasary when in a flare in the morning, and that seems to be enough for me. It is what it is I've come to know, and it's great when I find something to help cope, but totally am not surprised when it stops being of help, and I need to change something else. On going, day in, day out. D3 is a big yes for me though.
I was taking Ashwagandha for depression in the morning. Then I got one that required a divided dose. When I began taking the second pill at bedtime I discovered that I am sleeping more deeply and waking more refreshed. Who knew.
I take a Calcium / Magnesium every night about 1/2 hour before bed. Helps with the sleep and the restless legs.
