Members shared a wide range of strategies for managing the crushing fatigue that comes with fibromyalgia, with vitamin D3 supplementation being one of the most commonly mentioned solutions after bloodwork revealed deficiencies in several members. Many described success with alternative energy sources including guayusa tea (a caffeine alternative with no crash), magnesium malate for both energy and pain relief, B12 injections, beetroot supplements, oxygenated Penta water, and green powder supplements that provided coffee-like energy boosts. A recurring theme was the importance of addressing underlying issues through bloodwork to rule out anemia or deficiencies, ensuring adequate protein intake at every meal, and considering off-label prescription options like Adderall, which several members credited with giving them their lives back, though others noted the need for caution with certain heart conditions.

I just started a new supplement called organic fermented beets. I prefer to take it in capsule form because it doesn't have any sugar and doesn't require any preparation and it's supposed to help with energy production. ...Something about the nitrates in beets can improve the efficacy of your body's energy producing cells. Athletes use beets.

@A MyFibroTeam Member Thanks Victoria for the information on penta water. I used to drink it but the independent vitamin store that sold it has closed so maybe I'll see if I can find it somewhere else. @A MyFibroTeam Member I wanted to take Adderall but my primary care won't let me because of my atrial fibrillation. My PCP said you have to be careful with that drug if you have any kind of heart issues.
