I have been on Cymbalta for many years. I started on it for depression. Then stayed on it caused it helped with the depression and with the fibro when it would rear it ugly head of fatigue. I only had mild intermittent pain. Nothing that Tylenol wouldn’t help. When you’re ready to go off of Cymbalta, you MUST be weaned off. Sudden stopping of medication will result in nasty side effects. When I went without meds, I had auditory and visual hallucinations, mood swings and deep depression.
Now I know to keep enough meds around. Any time the doctor talks about cutting it down, I quickly refuse. I don’t want any of the side effects. She politely agrees.
I tried it but got sick on it so was taken off it I’ve been told all of the approved meds for fibromyalgia work differently for everyone
When you first take cymbalta , it makes you sleepy and nauseous but that’s only temporary.
It helps me with depression 😄
It's pretty good. Helps with my depression. All the best.
