My sister told me to take Tylenol and the other one said get off drugs. Stay on amitryptiline but Gabapentin gave me neuropathy. I tried big doses too. Took amitryptiline at 25mg after total GI workup was normal b 4 fibro in '92. Now it helps sleep but at 200mg. It's 50mg over max dose but shrink has no problem. It helped ibs and pain. Cuz I was diagnosed with ibs then.
