Hi. I have been struggling with phantom smells for a while, specifically the smell of exhaust. Recently I have found that as soon as the smell starts a migraine soon follows. Anybody else struggling with this?

I’m having phantom smells followed by a small headache, strong shortness of breath, chills, and worsening body aches. It’s how I know now that major pains are coming.

Yes. I also had a phantom smell prior to a migraine. It's so long ago that I don't remember what it was. My migraines went away after menopause. They may have been hormone related. Occasionally I have an occular migraine but there is usually no pain, just vision difficulty.

Hope you find some relief soon.

Phantosmia is another name. I go through spells of smelling smoke then it goes away again. Xx

Hi, it's called Dysosmia, I think. I smell coal fires and cigarette smoke, when we don't have either in my home. Strange isn't it. Xxx
