Do you have any success with acupuncture, massage, dry needling?? Sauna or hot tub??? I'm looking for all input.
Hi, Whatever therapist you go to, before making the visit ensure that the therapist is properly qualified for what they propose to do. You are within your rights to ask to see documentation of courses taken and qualifications obtained. If they are not keen to show you, walk away. There are so many unqualified people out there - and that includes people in the medical profession who profess knowledge they just do not have. Most natural therapists are adequately qualified though there are still some doubtful ones practising. One medical doctor I went to was using Acupuncture after reading a small book about Chinese Acupuncture - and he proved to me that he knew next to nothing about Acupuncture, but still continues to use it in his practice. It is your body, so take care.
Myofascial massage by a specialized therapist helped me most for long term relief. I went once a week for two years. I needed down time after each treatment though.
Accupunture and cupping help when I’m all knotted up. I may hurt a little afterwards-but nothing like all the knots do while squeezing my nerves off does😊
Massage and acupuncture does help. I cannot do either during a flare up though. Medical marijuana ( CBD) is the only thing that helps the pain when I’m flaring up. It’s legal in my state.
Don't forget hot mineral baths from real mineral water that comes from the Earth. I'm not talking about day spas. I'm talking about actual mineral water. My grandparents came to the United States in the early part of the 20th century and that's what they always did and my parents used to take me to a lot of mineral soaks. We don't have any close by anymore so I can't get to one often but the minerals in the water really help me.
