Members connected over the question of whether hot flashes are related to fibromyalgia, menopause, or both, with many sharing that it is likely a combination of the two conditions making symptoms worse. Several members described intense, soaking sweats and hot flashes lasting 30 to 45 minutes, with practical tips shared like placing frozen cloths on pulse points, staying hydrated, and keeping ice packs handy. A recurring theme was the challenge of finding relief, especially for those unable to take estrogen due to blood disorders or heart conditions, with some finding help through HRT, estrogen gel, or natural remedies like sage.

I knew an old lady in her 80s or 90s and she still had them. YIKES!
Sorry But you are never too old .
If hormones(or whatever) are out of whack it's going to happen.
But 80s and 90s I know!!! Come on give a lady a break huh???

@A MyFibroTeam Member Sage is great for hot flashes and sweats.
If you like it and are not sensitive to it.

I can only say that it must be a part of your conditions so the best thing to do is try not to wear anything too clingy and where you can, keep your room well aired! It might help to use a humidifier in the room you are in as it will cool the air a little and stop the air drying your body and maybe help to stop the sweating a little!

Exactly... Men don't know what hot flashes feel like. It's not as simple as saying your hot.
