I am 58 and still working. I have several condition. Fibromyalgia, arthritis, degenerative disc disease, spinal issues. I'm so scared! I still have so much pain even with the medication.
What can or should I do? I have never asked for an increase in dosage in all these years. People like me suffer! Help please
I go to pain management but you can ask your GP doctor about taking it. A lot of times doctors don’t know what all is out there. We have to be our own advocate. We have to learn to speak up and do our own research.
The thing I notice about taking supplements and using CBD oil is that the relief is so subtle that we don't notice it's actually working. BUT...back in March, I was forced off my supplements and CBD oil two weeks prior to my POP surgery and my pain increased soooo much. I had no idea how much magnesium was helping my muscles until I stopped. I mainly use CBD oil and T-Relief for my migraines and I missed them greatly! I had to fight my migraines using only ice. I was permitted to use oxycodone but causes constipation and that's not allowed prior to POP surgery. So I was only using ice. It was miserable. Then again this month, I'm scheduled for for rotator cuff surgery and I'm off my supplements/OTC meds again. I miss them so much!!! No supplements has my joints and muscles cramping up just like in March. So to me, it proves all these supplements are helping...even if the doctors claim I'm wasting my money!
Thank you all. I will try all that I can. It's sad we suffer and are discarded. It's hard to research and advocate when in so much pain but totally necessary! I am starting a journal and will document as I can and include my personal experience hopefully it can help when shared with doctors and anyone here.
Hi I have some of the same issues and more I use CBD Oil Tincture for my pain it also is a anti-inflammatory aid it takes a while to work when you first start and to get the right dose and strength what I like about it is on bad days I take a little more and on good less.It works for me . Hope you find relief.
What kind of doctor is he? My GP had me on fiorcet first, then tramadol and finally oxycodone. Then he retired. All new doctors refused to give me any pain meds, but thankfully I was already seeing a pain doctor. Even though he wasn't prescribing any of my medications, he was treating me with epidurals and radio-frequency ablation. So when my GP retired, I just had them transfer my pain,
my nausea and gabapentin medications' prescriptions to the pain management doctor. I feel that pain management doctors understand us better. Recently my pain management doctor suggested that I try ketamine infusions for longer lasting relief. It seems to be helping. Try to find a pain management doctor.
