I am somewhat nervous about taking this I do not want to become addicted to medication
I was told by holistic type doctor one time not to take it if possible because it's not good for the brain. In other words the brain doesn't function so well so it's a trade-off. I was just looking at the reviews on WebMD and it's varied. Apparently it affects everyone differently. If one can stand the side effects for 2 or 3 months one lady said that they eventually went away but I have no idea. I am afraid to try it. I did try gabapentin and I did not like Gabapentin at all, even at the very lowest dose for 3 weeks. I had to get off of it because I was having angry fits and walked like I was drunk. I managed to drive to DMV one day and it took me three tries to write a check to renew my license. My brain just wasn't working.
I take 3 day - 150 ea. Have been on for years. I gained 40 lbs real quick
I started at a very, very low dose. I did find that Lyrica got rid of the muscle zappings and aches that I had. but it was too expensive, now I take gabapentin.
I was told by a doctor to take 1/4 of the recommended lowest dose of a prescription to start out. that really stopped any side effects only a suggestion.
I am not sure about it being addicted. I would also, contact the pharmacist and ask them the same question.
