@A MyFibroTeam Member I think I have to find a new dr.. the one I have isn't very helpful šŸ˜ž I lm am really new to this, just was told last week that I have fibro.. it all started in my upper back and ribs.. the main reason I went to the ER to figure out what was wrong... it's been a very challenging three months for meZz lots of prayers and tears that's for sure.... for now all I'm on is Tylenol twice a day and Lyrica at night... muscle relaxer and tramadol if needed

Yes! I notice it the most if Iā€™m standing for a little while or sitting somewhere without back support. I have also noticed mine personally feels like tension. I can feel the muscles from my neck and shouldrts physically tightening to the one spot of my back. Definitely a burning throb.

Veronica..I have had fibro for many years. I take several different medications depending on the pain level. I am in pain 24/7 and it can be anywhere from 3-10. I have a strong opiod for the really bad days. The more I do, the more I hurt. I have to rest a lot. I use my heating pad constantly. Thanks to my doctor, I have avoided the hospital. Also I have learned a lot from this site. Learn what triggers your flares. For me it is any kind of stress or activity. Iā€™m sorry you are having such a tough time. Learn as you can about fibro. This site is a great resource. ā¤ļø

The best thing to do is to lie as still as possible. Eventually the pain seems to disappear.
