I was diagnosed 20+ years ago. He just told my husband that he is 45, so he would have been in high school when I was diagnosed. Since diagnosis I moved towns twice. I doubt that he has records of those 9 years. I am back at the same medical clinic as where the diagnosis was made, but my much loved doctor retired while I was away. I think he has only treated me for asthma since I returned 11 years ago. I have used alternative medicine almost exclusively throughout.

Good question.I think it depends on your doctor. Some doctors poo poo it and put you in a box with a label.You might just ask him ,what do you think of about fibromyalgia. Do you think it’s a real diagnosis? Then you can go from there.
Got to the lab just before it opened and there was little wait, about 20 minutes. He had ticked off all the boxes on the form, including an ECG and holter monitor. I have to make a separate appointment for the holter monitor. I was surprised that only 2 vials of blood were required.
I took a cab both ways. I really prefer to take a bus. While waiting at each end 2 busses went by. I bought the walker so that I can take the bus.

I, myself, would not mention my Fibro unless it was out of control. He will tell you if he can't justify the Plackard forms, but with OA, I'm sure he can. I've had my MD thirty-five years and I did not discuss Fibro with him until October of this year when he brought it up ( I thought it was buried in the records too).
That's what I'm thinking. I also have OA, RA, osteoporosis and 3 degenerated discs in my neck. The RA, osteoporosis, and degenerated discs were diagnosed when I was in different towns and he may not have records. I don't take meds for those 4 or the fibromyalgia.
