Members celebrated with someone who felt much better after reducing their prescription medications, sparking a wider conversation about managing fibromyalgia symptoms through alternative approaches and dietary changes. Several members shared their experiences with CBD oil capsules and gummies for pain and nausea relief, noting varying results and potential side effects like mood swings, while others found success with the FODMAP diet to address chronic nausea and IBS symptoms that had persisted since childhood. A recurring theme was taking control of one's own health by eliminating medications that cause more harm than good, experimenting with natural remedies, and listening to your body to find what works best for your unique situation.

I’ve used this company for several years now....CVSciences Plus CBD. It helps with anxiety, sleep and achy pain. Start with very very low dose and slowly increase until you reach desired effect. If you need help let me know. I also take Tylenol. 🙏Victoria

It may be only me, but I get terrible mood swings (mostly on the low side) after taking CBD oil for just one day. Sometimes the swings can last for more than a week. While it does appear to help with pain on the day that I do take it, I just can't afford to deal with the fallout.
Nausea is, for me, a very real and erratic thing. About the only thing I can do is take Ondenistron when it hits.

I have removed some of the medications that I am on because I detest taking medication anyway and if it is not working or causing me more problems I have no problems leaving those medications and telling the doctor to forget them. I have ordered some CBD Gummies and I am going to see if they help my pain. The only reason that I honestly even take Gabapentin is that it helps my restless leg syndrome, but besides that, it doesn't help my pain at all. In the past, at fairs, they have given me samples of liquid CBD that I drank, gel on my wrists or on top of my hands, and it did not make a difference. But I am willing to try the gummies because I am sick of this pain. Even some relief would help me. Some of the other medications have caused mood swings, irritability, and other side effects even affecting my vision. A lot has improved with just eating a better diet, stretching, doing low-impact exercises, and doing things I enjoy as well as lite housekeeping and cooking. That part wipes me out, but it also gives me hope because I am able to do some of it but not all of it.
