I never had this issue before diagnosed but recently my boyfriend woke me by massaging my cheeks saying i was grinding my teeth. Could it be another symptom from fibro or is it side effect from cymbalta / tramadol?

Omg yes so much and during the day now too! Anxiety on the jaw is terrible thos time of year too. Everyone wanting to go out and meet up....I suffer and worry about these events for months and it makes me so run down and I just need it to end. I need to own that and say I'm ok with saying no.

I was a grinder. It was from anxiety and tension so not medication at all. It's helpful to get a tooth guard to protect your teeth and your jaw from damage and migraine headaches.

You can get the soft ones at a pharmacy for a few dollars or your dentist for a hard mold. A call to your dentist can answer the question of cost and insurance coverage.

But if it was bad enough that it woke your boyfriend up and he had to wake you up to stop it, it's severe regardless of the cause.

Best of luck and keep those pearly whites safe 👍
