I smoke medical marijuana all day. CBD, CBG and Balanced strains in the morning, Sativa’s in the afternoon/evening and Indica's at bedtime.
I use a bong, and micro dose, using about 0.1-0.3 of a gram every 3-4 hours.
I have smoked well over 60 strains to find 5-8 that give me relief from my symptoms.
I prefer smoking for the instant relief and the calming, relaxation my mind experience’s. It basically gives my brain a break from processing pain. Edibles give me more of a body buzz, making me feel heavy and slow.
For me , “Pink Kush”, an Indica strain in the 20% THC range, blew me away. I instantly felt normal? I was more focused, clear minded, like a veil was lifted and I was so relaxed. My brain stopped processing pain and I instantly knew that this was the one!
I also enjoy strains that make me feel energetic and uplifting like “Lilac Diesel” and “Pineapple Express”. Others strains I enjoy are, “Jack Herer”, “Black Cherry Punch”, “Durban Poison” “Grand Daddy Purple “ and “Mango”.
I encourage you to experiment, try different formats/strains as everyone reacts differently.

In the 70s when I smoked pot I got hyperactive. When I was at parties I would clean the house instead of relaxing. For some reason I got invited to a lot of parties. The hyperactivity lasted several days. The capsules I take have minimal THC in them. I have severe asthma and can't smoke anything. Glad you get relief from pot.

I use 30 mg CBD oil capsules. X2 if the pain is bad. It also helps with energy and nausea.

I have been using it for years . CBD oils help me and THC helps me sleep. I find meditation helpful as well. I can’t take prescription meds because I am hypersensitive to them and they give me adverse side effects. Stress and the weather seem to be the worst for me. Calming the mind is really key and positive self awareness. 💜🙏💫 I also have Degenerative Disk Disease, arthritis and thyroid issues. I was in a severe car accident in 1992. And had RAI treatment to burn out my thyroid because of Graves’ disease

I know what you mean about skunk. Sometimes my neighbourhood reeks of skunk.
