I have tried many of the prescription sleep aids and muscle relaxers with many side effects and not much relief. About six months ago, my sister gave me some of the sleep aid she takes and I took that with the Baclafen I routinely take. It worked remarkably well and is now part of my routine. The sleep aid is Natrol Sleep +Calm.

I only take 10 mg of Amitriptylene and that works for me- no side effects. Tried 20mg once and felt strange. Guess we have to find what is right for us xx

Amitriptylene has changed my life. I had insomnia for about 15 years. Had Zolpidem/ambien and it made me really depressed. The Amitrip is amazing. I take one 1 hour before bed and just drift off. Always wake up after about 4 hours to go to the bathroom and then get another 2/3 hours sleep.

Iv'e had Fibromyalgia for a very long time and I take a muscle relaxer called Tizanadine. Helps with pain and definitely with sleep. 😴
