Members connected over the shared experience of hearing a rushing pulse in their ears, with many identifying high blood pressure as a trigger, particularly when lying down or in certain positions. Several members named the condition pulsatile tinnitus, with one describing how it happens randomly during everyday activities like looking upward or getting out of the car, and another mentioning related issues like hypersensitivity to sound. A recurring theme was the importance of ruling out heart-related causes like arrhythmia while also recognizing that stress can play a role.

That can be a sign of an arrhythmia; have it ruled out by heart DR . But yes that’s happened to me ( I was super stressed ) ; turns out everything was fine

Yes quite frequently especially if I extend my neck to look upwards or get out of the car. It just happened randomly today in the yard. It's called Pulsatile Tinnitus. I also have hyperacusis, (hypersensitivity to sound).
