I had gastric sleeve surgery 9 wks ago..
I felt sooo good for a few wks.. Active and losing weight.. This wk I'm down in bed again. I did some serious housework and it took a toll as usual.
I never regret doing the surgery tho.
I'm down 46 lbs so far and I'm 53, with of course Fibro for 20+ yrs.
There are GREAT groups on fb to help the journey and you can always ask me anything.

I had back surgery 4 years ago and unfortunately I had a tough time recovering fron it. I do believe the pain medications I required affected me badly because I have Central Senaitisation. Everyone is different and you may well have no problems. All the best for your surgery.

Depends on the person, for some it doesn't effect them at all and for other's it makes recovery harder - it all comes down to how the body deals with what is happening and being done to it.

I had surgery about 4years ago. It didn’t affect my fibromyalgia and I healed as the doctor said it would.
