How do you maintain focus of positivity? I was in severe pain this morning from my hips down to my toes. It hurt to move, it hurt to sit, and it hurt to walk. I wanted to cry, the pain was overwhelming. My thoughts turned negative. I thought dark thoughts like If I didn’t have these legs there would be no more pain. Then when I was kooking at Facebook, I saw a picture of a man running beside a boy who only had one leg. I felt guilty for my dark thinking. I automatically thought there has to… read more

Eimmarg hi, I also use the diclofenac. My Dr gave me a prescription, my copay makes it much less expensive. He also warned me of side effects concerning cardiac and possibly B/P problems. In the prescription kind there is a card that shows the dose you can use. Then when I picked it up the pharmacist told me to be careful not to over use. I love how much it helps me but my heart
starting pounding so I decreased the areas I was putting it on. I felt better in a few hours. So be careful my dear friends. What a bummer, right? Such a great product. Take care and Happy Mother's Day to all you mamas🌹💖
@A MyFibroTeam Member, it's human to feel negative or have negative thoughts once in a while because it helps us to the reflection on things we have achieved and see other people's lives before bringing us to realisation, it could be worse. I seek the presence of God and seek His comfort to help have positive thoughts😀. Pain brings us to our lowerest🙃. But we are stronger than we think. I pray you feel better soon and think Happy Thoughts 🥰
I'll be honest Margaret. I can't always maintain a healthy, positive outlook. It's so hard when you're in pain 24/7 and the tx's we do have either don't work or have terrible side effects. We just do the best we can with what we have to work with.😖
I don't have to tell you all the things we keep hearing...exercise, meditation, etc. I just stay away from folks if I find myself being too negative so they don't have to be "brought down" also! Please don't feel guilty about how you feel. Your feelings are valid; they're yours, but try to find something positive and reach out if you need to chat💖😘. Love, gentle hugs dear sister

I need to recommit to keeping a brighter attitude DAILY. Some days I do better than others, but my point is that this is a DECISION I have to make regularly (and there are days when I lose count of how many "start-overs" I make) 😀
I am trying to re-start a sewing project and when the weather allows, to take a walk - or drive to a park and sit outside to remind myself that life is so much more than pain.
Rainy days/overcast skies (today) are harder - yet tomorrow may be clear! I used to be good at this stuff - then .... well, NOW I get to begin once more.
