Recently diagnosed with fibro. My pain is on the right side if my body, primarily under my right shoulder blade and radiates up my neck and down my shoulder and down into my hip. I also only get migraines on the right side. Im having a hard time accepting fibro diagnosis because everything says it should be widespread and on bith sides.
Has any Dr ever mention CRAPS,that's the abbreviation,my friend has it,does have some similar symptoms as Fibro.Did you injure or have any surgery on that side before it started,a lot of times that brings it on, I'd maybe mention it to your specialist
I’m sorry, its so frustrating! I had a MRI which came back normal. I guess I’m just confused because my pain is so specific but i think I’m learning from this app that ive been discounting all my other aches and pains because they feel minor compared to this pain on my right side. I have been so discouraged and disappointed with moat doctors I’ve seen.
@A MyFibroTeam Member yes exactly… it feels like we cant even narrow it down to CNS or autoimmune. I also worry about MS even though no lesions were present on my MRI. I think they’ve put me in the fibro bucket because i have other issues that are related to it like migraines and emdometriosis but my pain doesnt seem the same as so many others describe.
That's exactly where my pain was in the beginning, and yes, that's how its mostly been for me for 34yrs, one side or the other or the top half or bottom half of my body.
It sounds like what my friend has,CRAPS,that's the abbreviation it's compartmental regional please found any evidence. I can't remember the other words but it does only affect one side and it's generally after a trauma to an arm, a leg or shoulder. Anything like that. Not always after a trauma though
