I found it difficult as when I'm not having a really bad flare up i get out and do a 15 or 30 mins walk with the dog, I managed to lose 10lbs but then get another flare up that lasts for week's and the weight goes back on!! Lol even more difficult with the menopause going on 😵💫 xxx
yes, I have been trying. Only thing is when fybro was in the early stages I was walking a lot and dancing nightly with my husband.
Lyrica will gain weight, some antidepressants gain weight. Both I am on.
Something about flares where I gain weight also. Of at least my body gains weight.
I am working on eating 3 meals a day and 2 healthy snacks. I have been a grazer I snack all day but I really do not eat much. Maybe I was grazing too much and not aware of it.
I am also in Taking Off Pounds Sensibly (TOPS)- it cost about $50.00 online for the year. now they are probably doing meetings. A good group here at the meetings. But I got too ill to go. Online is good, also. International.
Also there is Weight WAtchers, more expensive, but something to try.
I do not think I have lost the weight that I wanted to on TOPs online but I have not gained any weight since I signed up over a year ago.
All the above are suggestions only. There are many great programs out there.
thinking of you at this time. christine
I love popcorn....
Yes i had heart attack and sent home w all these papers on losing weight and exercise. Ive been exercising 5 days a week for at leazt 30 min. Did cardio rehab. I lost 35 pounds but now cant seem to lose. Yes im on stuff that caused alot of weight gain
that picture is hilarious,,, Yes it definately takes longer but that is just an aging and metabolism issue,, all the older people i know have the same problem and they dont have fibro ,, consistency is the key,, i can watch the scale not move for weeks then all of a sudden it will just drop 3 or 4 lbs,, just keep swimming as Dori would say,, you will see the change,,
😂😂😂😂
Totally agree with you didgens about age and metabolism but so much more of a struggle for anyone who suffers from the pain! I do find quite often i lose but then it all goes back on if I get a flare up that can last for week's. Then back to square one 🤦
Lol glad you liked the picture 😂xxx
