I know brain fog is part of fibromyalgia, but I was just wondering if anyone has found anything that helps?
I do crossword puzzles, crochet, and a variety of brain games on my kindle
Reducing carb consumption has helped me some with the brain fog.
I would research Savella very closely! I was on it for 18 months and during that time I lost almost all of my hair, my teeth rotted, I developed rash-like bumps over my skin and it became severely dried out and I began to hemorrhage for 63 days. It’s a very bad medicine and really did a number on my body, plus relief for fibro was almost nil. Approach with caution!
Brain fog is a daily thing for me and is frustrating. When it starts to get bad, I make sure to write down whatever I wanted to accomplish so I can go back to it and I carry my phone to put anything I think into it (I'm about to start carrying a notepad and pen since I seem to forget what I wanted to put into my phone by the time I unlock, open app, etc). I'm still learning what works for me.
Savella helps me a lot. It’s the only medicine made specifically for fibromyalgia. It helps a lot with my fog and depression. It doesn’t do much for pain though.
