Hormone Therapy
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

I'm just wondering if anyone has had hormone replacement/therapy? I am curious of the benefits? And do think menopause plays a part in your pain?

I'm going through menopause too.Im not on anything for it,but I've been going through it for ten years now. It's been a challenge. I definitely think having Fibromyalgia and Menopause causes increased pain. 😒

I started with essterdial pill . My family dr said all my blood work was great and to use it any longer then needed. I stopped it and didn’t feel like I needed it to start with. 2years later I am so dry down there it was uncomfortable all the time. So I have esterdial cream 1 or 2 times a week works. But I do have to be very careful of migraine triggers.

And yes some people go threw them the rest of there life ! But if you can afford it , they have a cream that they make just for your body . Smooches Pooches

I'm on multiple hormone replacements but i suspect they're not the ones you mean! Suffice to say for me my body is missing at least 3 hormones so replacing them at least helps towards a semblance of normality

I'm using Estrace for many years after my hysterectomy, the Dr left just the cervix and a damaged ovary. Since then, I'm feeling ok. But I'll ask my Dr if I can stop them or keep taking it. It's a hormone replacement.
