Wondering if anyone has had a covid booster or the 3rd dose of the vaccine? Apparently you can get either, the third full dose is recommended for immune compromised people and I'm not sure which one i should be getting?

Members responded to a question about whether immune-compromised people should get the COVID booster or a third full vaccine dose, with many sharing their own experiences to help. Several members shared they received a full third dose, noting that healthcare providers specifically recommended it for those with weakened immune systems, while others got the standard booster with minimal side effects like a sore arm or brief fatigue. A recurring theme was a willingness to keep getting additional doses as needed, with many expressing confidence in staying protected.

I got the two Moderna vaccines and the Moderna booster. I had just a sore arm and a little more extra tired than my normal extra tired. Not a problem.

I had the first two Covid vaccines and then the booster. No side effects from the vaccines, and only a sore arm from the booster. I am immune compromised.

I had the booster. Just sore at the injection site, but that's it.

I got a full dose for the booster. If I need to get a fourth, I will.
