My friend didn't stay in remission unfortunately. Her life became hectic then symptoms started coming back. But I'm going to try and come off meds and go alternative. I used to be on amitriptyline for sleep but realised it made me worse. I was much more tired and gained loads of weight. I've now stopped taking it everyday and dropped 15kg just by doing that. Tiredness levels are also do much better I don't feel really heavy and plodding and like my brain is cloudy. Fentanyl patches have also been reduced. Incase you're interested the supplements she used were Tumeric with black pepper, Vitamin D and Magnesium for sun deficiency (we are black people in europe so vitamin deficiency is an issue), B12 for nerve pain, Omega 3 and 6 for brain fog , 5 HTP as and when needed for insomnia. Please check if it won't clash with any other medication

I very rarely get a break from pain, but I never lose my Faith and Trust in God to get me through each day; and, I try to stay positive and just keep pushing forward.

I to use topical ointments and found the only thing that relaxes me is medical marijuana. A couple of puffs and puts me in a different dimension I swear by it!!!! Xo

I know someone who had remission for 3 years. She was bedridden and decided to turn to alternative medicine. She went vegan and took different supplements to take care of different aspects like sleep, tiredness, inflammation etc

I had a period about a year and a half ago when most of the symptoms dipped to almost nothing. I came off all meds and for about 6 months i almost forgot i had fibro. But at the time time my tumour came back so i spent half the time sorting that. ! Go figure. I was probably at my happiest then and i know that helped hugely .. laughter and smiles really make a differnce for me. Good luck
