This is recent research and I can relate to the superficial breathing that leads to hyperventilation. There's also mention of virus triggering CFS in some cases.

My c-pap Phillips was recalled and still waiting on replacement machine. I can tell the difference in my sleeping without it
I use CPAP too. I understand why it would be uncomfortable in the heat and humidity, those face masks and tight bands, ugh. They oftentimes leave marks on my face for hours in the morning.
Have a great day. ππ
Hi Arlene I take like a minimum of 10 per hour and wake up tired every day as I was told itβs like Iβm running a 10K marathon in my sleep. Hope you get it soon as my wife donβt sleep well because she worries about my episodes and seen it many times saying itβs scary for her.
Hi Arlene, i can as well. There are times I take it off thinking I'm gonna stay awake for a while and then I fall back to sleep without it on and I wake up gasping sometime later, my chest actually hurting from holding my breath in.
I hope you get a new machine soon. It can be quite dangerous without one depending on how many "episodes" you have per night. Do they promise to replace it?
