Does anyone suffer with eye twitching? Over the last few weeks my left upper eyelid keeps twitching. It was just once or twice a day but it’s now happening a lot more. It feels like my eyelid is being pulled down over my eye for a few seconds and the just pings back again.

Members connected over the frustrating experience of persistent eye twitching, with many describing a similar pattern of their left eyelid twitching repeatedly throughout the day. Several members identified stress and fatigue as likely triggers, with one member noting that fibromyalgia symptoms often feel like an overactive nervous system constantly responding to the world, while another shared that eye twitching signals an incoming headache. A recurring theme was that this symptom tends to come and go in cycles lasting weeks or months, and members suggested practical steps like getting a vision exam, wearing corrective glasses more consistently, and recognizing twitching as a signal to rest or manage stress.

Hi, don’t have eye twitching but if it keeps bothering you, I highly suggest going to get your eyes checked (vision exam). I did recently and needed glasses. Hope u figure it out soon! God bless!

Hi, yes I get this too. Sometimes it lasts for weeks or even months and then it disappears for several months. I only started getting this when the other fibro symptoms began. It must related. Its a very frustrating symptom because you are always aware of it being there x

Yes I have this sometimes. I have read it is stress related? Sometimes I feel like a lot of my fibro symptoms are like a very very sensitive overactive nervous system that is constantly responding to stimuli in the world...

My right eye is always looking half closed. My left eye twitches a lot. Dr wont do anything for either. It is very bothersome at times. Pic of my eyes.

My eyes always twitch when I’m about to have a bad headache. I have brought this up to my doctors and to my optometrist and I have them all stumped as to why.
