Has Anyone Tried Arthritis Compression Gloves?
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

The arthritic pain in my fingers is getting rather bad, particularly so in both my index fingers...I just wondered if anyone has tried them, can or cannot recommend them, and if you can, which make is a good one...💜

I use them in the winter and they definitely help me especially using them at nite sleeping so I don't cup them.

Hi, crawling out of my cave to answer this question. I actually just bought two new pairs because I already had a grey pair that I altered slightly to fit perfectly (you can see on the pic) but red and teal are funnier and I can make believe that they are a fashion accessory a lot easier than the wrist/hand braces or thumb/wrist braces when I go out. I worked perfectly at thanksgiving dinner with the red ones!
I use them a lot in fall/winter because in addition to helping me with the pain, they are warm and that helps too. The length of those I have is perfect for me because I need my fingertips to sew/feel/use computer stuff… but I need the compression to go as far as possible.
So yeah, i tried them and it works for me.
Have a good day!

🦄 Nikki...
I use the compression gloves and also a brace, esp when my CT pain is bad. I bought mine at WalMart, Mueller brand,
and yes, they do seem to help, esp when gardening, writing, lifting items, etc. Not
bulky or heavy, light, stretchy, but
supportive, not expensive.👍

They come in varied sizes and some are copper infused. Some gloves reach over the fingers, with openings.

The Dr. had me scheduled for CT surgery, years ago. I cancelled it. I've used these and will, until I have to have surgery.

Hope this helps.
