I've had pain in the heel of my foot for a week or more. Anyone have this? What are some remedies for it?

It is called Plantar fasciitis is an inflammation of the fibrous tissue (plantar fascia) along the bottom of your foot that connects your heel bone to your toes.

Some natural remedies you can rub your feet with lavender oil or rosemary oil also Arnica gel can help.
Freeze up a small water bottle and you can roll your feet on the bottle on the floor, this might help.
Also soaking your feet in Epsom Salts can help ease some pain.
Buy some comfortable foot inner soles to put into your shoes, designed for Plantar fasciitis.
Make an appointment with a Podiatrist as well.

Hope that you find the remedy that helps You out the best.

I have Plantar fasciitis, osteoarthritis on both feet. I have to wear foot brace in my shoes for 10 years. Likewise, I had to change them when the illness becomes too painful. Now, I have a pair with an insert for plantar fasciitis. You can take a towel and put it under your feet, holding each end in your hands and stretching the soles of your feet to relieve the pain. This can very well be done during the television announcements. Or you can roll a tennis ball under each foot, that relieves too. I hope you'll find a way to ease your pain

The shoes I wear make all the difference. I used to have a constant hurting in my heel it was such an odd sensation. I finally have just given in and switched over to only good supporting tennis shoes. Nothing with a high arch. I can't do sandals or boots definitely nothing with the heel. If I do do sandals or a cute pair of flat boots I can only do them for a couple of hours after that I must get back into my regular shoes or I will suffer for it for several days later. It's really crazy I've been thinking I was going crazy all this time. It's not me that's crazy it's this disease.

I do get heel pain especially when wearing hard shoes. I find having a soft support inside my shoes to be helpful. Also heel massages help.
