Just wondering if anyone knows of a You Tube Video, or Site that addresses exercises, stretches, etc. for beginners with Fibro. I recently had to stop going to physical therapy ‘gym” because of an issue with the owner. I desperately NEED to do some type of “gentle workout” or I will be in a wheelchair soon enough. I Know what to DO, but my “Weak Motivation” keeps me from doing it. I thought that perhaps this might work for me! Thanks You!
Stretching makes my pain worse so be careful
I know this is old, but I just wanted to share that the type of yoga that works best for me is "restorative yoga". If you search that on YouTube, you should find several videos with super gentle, slow poses. If I stretch too far it can be "bad" for me, so I take it easy and focus as much on the relaxation as the stretch. :)
I practice Yoga on YouTube on a site called Yoga With Adriene. You can search her videos for key words like stretch, gentle, etc. Go at your own pace with her. Good luck!
