I am very hesitant about taking the vaccine as I am sure it will make my Fibromyalgia symptoms way worse and I don't think I can handle worse pains and symptoms than what I get right now. What were you experiences and were you lucky to get no issues?
I'm 65 years old had covid in December, compared to the flu covid was a 4 on a 10 point scale. A few days ago I had an antibody test to determine if I had any... I do. So as for me the vaccine will have to wait 3 or so years before it goes into my arm. It's just too new to for me to feel comfortable with it in the long haul.
The pain was nt as bad as a crash. And well worth it. You do NOT want Covid.
Pfizer does require a follow up shot
I had the J&J shot last spring and aside from a sore arm and being extra tired the day after I had no issues. I also recommend getting the vaccine to reduce stress and be able to socialize with or her vaccinated folks.
I had Moderna on May 1 and June 22nd, 2021 and did not suffer any more fibro comications. My reaction to first shot was a sore arm only, my second shot was headache, fatigue, chills for 24 hours but def not fibro related. I find great comfort knowing I am fully vaccinated and that reduces my stress level and helps reduce a stress flare.
