I have eye issues. I do have AMD (macular degeneration) in both eyes. Left one is blind but right one is so so. Wear glasses so they help.

Sadly blurry vision, flashing lights can be symptoms of something else occurring in your eyes. Could be pressure in the eye, etc. I am not trying to alarm you, but better to be checked.

I would recommend you see an optometrist soon just to be on the safe side.

Better to safe then to ignore it.

@A MyFibroTeam Member Yes, I had a flash of light from the left side of my left eye. After it happened a couple of times, I went in to my eye Dr. Turns out I had a torn retina and had to have it lasered. Not painful, just a sense of pressure during the laser surgery. If you're seeing a light on the side of your eye, get into an opthamologist immediately! That is
one of the symptoms of a retina tear and if it continues to tear you can go blind. If it tears all the way , you will see nothing but bright lights. It will be like looking at the sun. I am trying to alarm you because I went through this but I knew about it beforehand because my father and my brother ignore the symptoms and they both went blind in the eye but I got in in time to have a retina specialist laser it before it tore all the way! That may not be what it is but definitely go in and get it checked out. If you call now sometimes they cannot even fit you in so tell them it is an emergency. You need to see be seen by an ophthalmologist

I have floaters in my eyes. When i was at the eye doctor, he said if I saw flashes of light I would need to get checked out.

Thank All of u for responding! I did call and see my eye Dr Mon. I just had thorough eye exam 4 months ago. Am hoping it's just part of ocular migraine stuff but ur all correct in Better safe than Sorry 😍L
