Does Acupuncture Help With Fibromyalgia Symptoms?
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

I was referred to acupuncture a while back. And when I tried to get scheduled the acupuncture office said I didn't meet the criteria for treatment and rejected my referral. Then I asked my med doctor why and she just said she doesn't know but she's going to take their word instead of figuring out why and what can help me. I'm just annoyed because why get the referral in the first place when it won't be affective. Anyway have any of yous been through the same thing? Or have any of you had acupuncread more

Sorry this happened to you. I can say i tried Everything including acupuncture. I
The results can be different for everyone. When I received it in my back some of the needles intensely started a burning sensation. I couldnt relax at all because of the feeling it just got worse and I asked her to take them out I never got it again. After suffering for fibromyalgia for many years I believe the best thing that you could do is exercise and live a healthy life.

I went for awhile, but I did not feel much relief. The sessions were very expensive, so I had to quit.

I have tried a few times, but it didn't do anything to me. I don't believe in acupuncture for fibro.

I got dry needling in face and head for My migraines after I had a weird side effect from Botox . I felt instant relief. There was lidocaine Administered as well. You might have to get it done once a month or maybe even twice a month to relieve the pain. I’m thinking about getting it in my neck and back.Hope this helps somebody.
