I've been on sertraline for 3 years without any good result for my fibromyalgia I have been diagnosed with depression as well. My psychiatrist told me that I don't have to stop this medication. The neurologist on the other hand thinks that duloxetine works better for fibro symptoms. What are your experiences from both drugs? I think that I have to give a try on cymbalta, because Im quite exhausted and I feel helpless at this point.
Have been on sertraline for depression, was not helping me, been on cymbalta and my depression and pain is much improved, now going to go off sertraline.
I am on duloxetine for depression and fibro. I was put on it for my fibro first, and it has helped, has helped my depression too.
Finding getting off sertraline slowly,is having some adverse effects. Maybe I need it along with cymbalta? Drugs are so hard to adjust with fibro and depression. I will persevere somehow!👍
